This shot is a panorama at 70mm of magnetite making the sand look black in areas of Whitefish Point. The sun hadn't risen yet, so the sand acted as an optical illusion, making me think the sun was up and casting hard shadows when it wasn't. I wanted to capture that magic. At f/5, only the mid section of the driftwood is in focus, leaving the immediate foreground and background soft and ethereal. This print is a limited edition, 1 of 1 signed print. Once it's gone, no telling whether it'll be back in the shop any time soon.
