Spring is in the Air (and so are the birds!)
Two years ago I picked up my first super-telephoto lens and began getting a closer look at the wildlife diversity in Northern Michigan. To add to my already diverse portfolio, I'm finally getting comfortable enough with some of my wildlife photography to be printing and posting with some confidence. Spring is fast becoming my favorite season, if not for the warmer weather, I find myself getting excited as I see more and more birds migrating back up north.
Now, if you didn't know, I'm a frequent visitor to the Jordan River in East Jordan and lately, I've been lucky enough to see a great variety of wildlife already.
At the end of April, I was treated with my first day of seeing tree swallows again for the year and they became comfortable enough with my presence to land on some nearby trees while they braved a sudden windy snowstorm.
